In the process of electro-galvanizing and electro-tinning of steel sheets, the selection and preparation of anode materials is a very important issue. The structure, life and quality of the galvanized steel plate of the plating tank depend to a large extent on the anode. There are two types of anodes used in electrogalvanizing, namely soluble anodes and insoluble anodes. Insoluble anodes have the advantages of improving the uniformity of the coating, reducing energy consumption and requiring no frequent replacement, thus ensuring the operation rate and the continuity of production. Insoluble anodes have replaced soluble anodes and are widely used in modern galvanizing industry.
