Treated secondary water
1. Sustainable recycling and reuse
2. High concentration of available chlorine is produced
Depending on the water quality of the WWTP, simple media filtration and disinfection may be required. If additional treatment is required, reverse osmosis is usually employed. High-strength sodium hypochlorite is generated on-site using brine made from delivered salt or seawater.
Wastewater can be treated for irrigation and other reuse applications.
