Graduating with a Ph.D. in engineering chemistry and possessing extensive experience in the electrode industry, Professor Shima has been honored with international invention patents, including the application of electrolytic copper foil titanium anodes.

Professor Shima's main research areas include "Technical development of titanium-based metal oxide coating electrodes," "Development of electrolytic decolorization technology," and "Development of electrolysis water technology." He holds a significant international position in the fields of "electrolytic copper foil," "electrolytic aluminum foil," "diamond thin film electrodes," and "seawater electrolysis."
